It is so fun to create from scratch! All of the below projects were self drafted using an idea, some math, and a lot of problem solving. If you haven’t tried to create something without a pattern, give it a shot!

How do I create my patterns? Carefully and with the help of 1″ by 1″ lined paper. This paper is usually used for teaching or coloring, but I saw it as a great way to map out my projects. If you have a cat like me, be careful! Junie loves to grab hold of the roll and sink her claws into it.

This paper is sold in a 1 pack and 2 pack. For sewing purposes, I would suggest getting the 1 pack. If you have a classroom or kids that love to color, consider getting the 2 pack. Otherwise, 1 is plenty for just pattern drafting!
